Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SuperDep, LLC(“Company,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SuperDep Service or otherwise interact with us.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Data —name, email address, and credentials.
• Content Uploads —deposition transcripts and related documents you actively provide.
• Usage Data —log files, IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, and clickstream events.
• Payment Data —billing address and partial card details (processed by our payment provider).
• Cookies & Analytics —small text files & similar technologies to remember settings and understand how the Service is used.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to (a) provide, secure, and improve the Service; (b) generate deposition summaries and related outputs; (c) communicate with you (e.g., transactional emails, support); (d) process payments; and (e) comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• With subprocessors necessary to run the Service (currently AWS, Vercel, Railway, and xAI LLM providers);
• With third-party payment processors for billing;
• When required by law, subpoena, or court order;
• To investigate and prevent fraud, security, or technical issues;
• With your consent or at your direction.

5. Security Measures

We employ TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, network firewalls, and restricted-access controls. No security measure is perfect; please use discretion when uploading sensitive data.

6. Data Retention

Transcripts and derived summaries are retained for 14 days(see Terms § 6). Back-up copies may persist up to 30 days. Upon verified request, we will delete your personal data except where we have a legal basis to retain it.

7. International Transfers

We are headquartered in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to processing and storage in the U.S. and other countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, emailsupport@superdep.ai.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us for deletion.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Effective Date” and, if material, notify you via email or prominent notice.
